Coating thickness measurement couldn’t be easier – SmarTest, the new concept for professional coating thickness measurement does not even require a thickness gauge. Just use one of the latest ElektroPhysik wireless sensors and read out and process data on the free of charge SmarTest App. This Android App- shortly also available for iOS mobile phones and tablets – is designed to assume all the functions of a professional coating thickness gauge allowing immediate analysis of data on site without the need to connect to a computer.
The SIDSP® sensors of ElektroPhysik include the complete measuring electronics in the sensor. All readings are created and digitally processed in the sensor itself. Via Bluetooth, measuring data can be transferred either to a compatible ElektroPhysik thickness gauge or to the SmarTest App for mobile phones or tablets for read-out and analysis. The SmarTest sensor is equipped with two LEDs to indicate the current connection status or readings exceeding the set limits.
This new full-set concept will convince independent experts on site or consultants in executive positons being on the road a great deal and using their smartphone instead of a PC. The intelligent SmarTest sensor is made to fit any jacket pocket. Of course, readings can be still be transferred to further platforms. Just email your reading files in the CSV standard format from your mobile phone or tablet to your clients. SmarTest offers the full range of measuring accuracy and functionalities as a conventional ElektroPhysik coating thickness
gauge. The SmarTest App allows convenient display of readings, statistics and calibration data on the large touchscreen of your smartphone. Setting and calibration functions will thus be as easy to operate as the smartphone itself.
In the standard scope of delivery SmarTest comes either with an F 2.6 or a dual FN 2.6 sensor with automatic identification of the substrate and the SmarTest App being free of charge. For special applications, you can use any of the SIDSP® standard sensors as they are all compatible with the SmarTest concept.
